I don't get it really. I stopped watching Spiderman after the second movie. OK, this is the Untold Story of Spider-Man, and it's in 3D - so I might make an exception this time.
I watched the trailer, this looks exactly like the other Spiderman movies, except for the new actors. So new faces, same story, same special effects.
Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Connors, his father's ex partner.
Emma Stone tries to look like Kirsten Dunst, I'm not sure that's possible. Kirsten always had something mysterious and sad around her when she played.
Andrew Garfield is doing a good job, many might say, a better job than Tobey Maguire. It sounds strange, but after three movies with Tobey, the people could find it refreshing having someone else in the main role.
The decision to get new names in the movie was not easy, but the old crew all decided not to participate, mostly because their financial demands were not accepted. Some could also argue, that Tobey Maguire, who is now father of two children, decided against playing a teenager role.
But don't forget, we're talking about a money-making machine here, a franchise that, similar to all other Marvel films, makes a lot of people richer every day.
Anyway, who cares about money these days. Just go see the movie, starting March the 7th, in 3D.
