Ender's Game 3D TV - read the Ender Books first!

| Nov 2, 2013
It was a nice surprise to see Ender's Game finally released as a film for movie theathers and Imax. Can you imagine, this book was written 30 years ago!!
Ender's Game 3D TV - read the Ender Books first!
I remember when I was kid, I read Ender's Game book and I was amazed how imaginative the author Orson Scott Card really is. 30 years ago, there was no internet, no facebook, no iPad apps or games. Looking back through this perspective, you will understand how spactacular Ender's Game really is!

At the time, this book blew my mind. Ender was my hero. I read the next three books in the Ender Series - Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, Children of the Mind - they were still very good, of course Ender's Game remained the best of the series.

The story of Ender is very simple, but at the same time, extremely complex. Ender is a boy who saves the world, evolving from a prodigy boy who likes to play games to the best military commander Earth ever had. The fight between good and bad is reckless. You feel the violence in its raw form, this is no emotional story of caring or mercy acts. This is a story of live and death, a battle for survival, where the destiny of whole humanity is at stake.

Before you go see the Ender's Game movie, go read the book first. You will thank me! It is always very hard to transport the book author feelings and imagination on the big screen in images. No matter how good the special effects are, you need to experience and feel the characters through Orson Scott Card's words. Only then you can understand and fully appreciate the years and years of research and efforts of the film crew, to bring this wonderful 30 years old story to your modern big 3D screens.

I love to watch Harrison Ford and Ben Kingsley playing in this movie. And Asa Butterfield, in the role of Ender Wiggin, is doing a great job, might have a great future in the movie business.

Ender's Game - This is not a game!!

read the book first, you won't regret it!

here is the Ender's Game trailer

In the near future, a hostile alien race called the Formics have attacked Earth. If not for the legendary heroics of International Fleet Commander Mazer Rackham, all would have been lost. In preparation for the next attack, the highly esteemed Colonel Hyrum Graff and the International Military are training only the best young minds to find the future Mazer. Ender Wiggin, a shy but brilliant boy, is recruited to join the elite. Arriving at Battle School, Ender quickly and easily masters increasingly difficult challenges and simulations, distinguishing himself and winning respect amongst his peers. Ender is soon ordained by Graff as the military’s next great hope, resulting in his promotion to Command School. Once there, he’s trained by Mazer Rackham himself to lead his fellow soldiers into an epic battle that will determine the future of Earth and save the human race.

Django Unchained - in 3D?

| Jan 1, 2013
I'm a Quentin Tarantino fan and it's a long time since I saw a good Tarantino movie. So Django Unchained, welcome!

I really looking forward to watch Django Unchained again and again, even if there is no 3D version at the moment. Even so, my smart 3D TV can do a mean 2D to 3D conversion, so not all is lost.
Django Unchained in 3D

Jamie Foxx is a smart actor, you know him from Collateral or even Ray.
I'm happy to see him together with Leonardo diCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Django Unchained story is your usual Western Rescue & Revenge story, but very well made this time, so you will enjoy it for sure.

With the help of his mentor, a slave-turned-bounty hunter (Django) sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.

The villain is plantation owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo diCaprio), along with his trusted but duplicitous house slave Stephen and mandingo trainer Billy Crash. Other villains include the Brittle brothers and Spencer "Big Daddy" Bennett.

Contrary to what you might think, Django Unchained is an original story written by no other than the director, Quentin Tarantino.

Don't miss Django Unchained even if not in 3D:

Texas Chainsaw 2013 - worth to see it in 3D?

Texas Chainsaw 3D is a sequel to the original film starting off shorty after the original ended and then picking up many decades later.

A young woman travels to Texas to collect an inheritance; little does she know that an encounter with a chainsaw-wielding killer is part of the reward.
 Texas Chainsaw 2013 in 3D

Texas Chainsaw was actually shot in 3D, meaning the 3D will be authentic and a thousand times better than other horror movies that were not shot in 3D but converted from 2D to 3D.

Of course it is known that 3D doesn't work well for movies that are shot in the dark or take place at night because the 3D glasses darken the image even more.

But since the 3D might be the only significant difference between this and any of the others, that would probably be a good reason to see Texas Chainsaw in 3D.

Release date is 4 January 2013.

Hotel Transylvania 3D TV

The story and the heroes are hilarious, you will laugh all the time. Dracula is not what you will expect from a vampire! There is also a hint of romance, for teenagers, of course.

The movie Hotel Transylvania is about a young vampire girl Mavis (dubbed by Selena Gomez) who wants to go out and explore the outside world. Welcome to Hotel Transylvania Dracula's lavish five-stake resort where monsters and their families can live it up and no humans are allowed. Her over protective father Dracula (Adam Sandler) does not want his young daughter to go out and mingle with humans. He believes that humans do not like vampires and will try to hurt her but he did tell her that when she turned 118, she could go. One special weekend Dracula (Adam Sandler) has invited all his best friends ( Frankenstein and his wife the Mummy the Invisible Man the Werewolf family and more) to celebrate his beloved daughter Mavis's (Selena Gomez) 118th birthday. Mortal Instruments - City of Bones 3D TV - the new Twilight

I had the chance to read the "Mortal Instruments" books over the past few days.
and let me tell you Mortal Instruments - City of Bones will be a very cool movie. This movie and probably the next movies from the Mortal Instruments series (City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Lost Souls) will warm the hearts of all teenagers out there, especially those who loved the Twilight series as well.

mortal instruments 3dtv city of bones

The author of Mortal Instruments, Cassandra Clare, knows exactly what teenagers like.
Magic, Mystery, Good heroes and Bad heroes, special powers, and last but not least, Romance.
And an abundance of vampires, werewolves, demons, warlocks and other deadly creatures.

The story in Mortal Instruments is great, funny and full of twists. So if you decide to read the books before seeing the movie on the big screen or on your 3DTV, you won't regret nor let the book down until you finished it.

An ordinary teenage girl, Clary Fray, finds out the truths about her past and bloodline on her quest to get her mom back (attacked and taken from their home in New York City by a demon), that changes her entire life.
Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld.
She falls in love, struggles with her best friend, and becomes the person her mother feared she would become.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays the bad guy (Valentine Morgenstern) in City of Bones, as long as the next installments of Mortal Instruments. He looks quite mean indeed.

Lily Collins, I don't know if you know her, is very believable playing the main female hero of the series, Clary Fray. This is not your normal sexbomb actress, but a more subtle appeal. She will become a big star after Mortal instruments.

Jamie Campbell Bower looks great as well, but I'm not sure the book fans will recognize Jace Wayland in him, being that Jace spent most of the time covered in crap, having a bad attitude and snarling at people.

The Mortal Instruments - City of Bones movie will be available in August 2013.

Turbo 3D aka the Es-Car-Goes comes July 2013

| Dec 25, 2012
A garten snail wants to win the Indy 500? This is the story of the movie "Turbo", that will come to your 3D theaters on 19 of July 2013.

Since my kids love to go to these type of computer animated movies, especially the ones with lots of action, special effects and 3D, I really can't wait to go and see Turbo and to get it later for watching on my big 3DTV.

Turbo 3D aka the Es-Car-Goes comes July 2013

Turbo is a high-velocity 3D comedy about an underdog snail who kicks into overdrive when he miraculously gains the power of super-speed. But after making fast friends with a crew of streetwise, tricked-out es-car-goes (Escargot in French is Snail), Turbo learns that no one succeeds on their own. So he puts his heart and shell on the line to help his pals achieve their dreams, before Turbo-charging his own impossible dream: winning the Indy 500.

Quite the story from the makers from Dreamworks.

Have you noticed that most acclaimed and popular 3D movies are the animated 3D movies? Turbo is not an exception. Watch the Turbo 3D Trailer:
